'I am Reza Nejad, born in Tehran in 1988. In 2017 I obtained both my master's degrees in hydraulic engineering and management & engineering at Delft University of Technology. My graduation work was devoted to researching 'pile toe failure in Amazonehaven', where the love for the field of geotechnics (and pile-driving analysis) has awakened in me. I further expanded my geotechnical knowledge by following the CGF-1 course in 2019.

I recently started working at Hektec as a geotechnical/foundation technician where both worlds of 'design' and 'execution' come together. Within Hektec I am mainly involved in: performing pile-driving analyses, sheet pile and pile bearing capacity calculations, designing cofferdams and temporary auxiliary structures, but also performing noise and vibration predictions."
