In the case of piles formed in the ground, the head of the pile is a critical point.
Not only is it most likely that the concrete does not develop sufficient strength here, but this is also the point where most of the pressure of overhead structures rests. It is therefore very important that the concrete here is of sufficient quality.
In order to test this, Hektec can test the concrete cores for you on a random basis. A core of 30 cm in length is drilled in the center of the piles. This is then tested for strength in a laboratory.
